Create a cardboard guide to make cutting the tulle into squares easier. Cut a 6 x 9-inch piece of sturdy cardboard to use as a template for wrapping tulle strips. 

This keeps the tulle organized and helps with even cutting. A thick piece works best to avoid bending. If reusing the guide, mark measurements for consistent cuts.

Step 3: Wrap the Tulle Around the Cardboard

Repeat Steps 3 to 5 for all 18 tulle strips—9 from each color. If you're using rolls of tulle instead of yardage, follow the same steps for each roll. When finished, you should have two stacks of 6-inch squares: one stack for each color. 

It’s best to work on one color at a time so you stay organized and get equal amounts of each color. To keep things tidy, place each color in a separate container to avoid mixing them up.

Take two squares of the same color tulle and place them on top of each other. Stacking two pieces makes the wreath look fuller and more colorful.
