Materials That You Will Need to Make DIY Ribbon Rosette:
- A glass vase
- A pack of 16 wooden round dowels
- Green paint
- Ribbon
- Paintbrushes
- Some clear gems to add visual interest
- Needle and thread
- Glue gun
Instructions:
Step 1:
Stary by painting wooden round dowels with green paint to serve them as flower stems. You should lay down some paper to protect your table while you will paint and have two cups handy, one filled with water and one filled with paint. The cup filled with water is to clean your brush after finish your painting. Paint each stem and then leave them dry about for 20 minutes.
Step 2:
Fill your vase with clear gems. And after drying your stems completely, place them inside the vase and begin to make roses.
Step 3:
Before cutting your length of ribbon and turn it into a rose, you should ready your needle and thread.
Step 4:
Now, cut your length of ribbon that should be about 3 feet in length. After that, fold it in half with the pretty side facing up. For making a rose, you can use a stiffer ribbon because it works much easier than a silky one.
Step 5:
In this step, spread the ribbon so that it makes a 45-degree angle at the fold.
Step 6:
After that, take the ends of the ribbon and overlap them, cross them over the fold for making a stack. You should keep folding until you only have two quick ends and one pile of folds.
Step 7:
Come to the next step and grab the ends of ribbons and throw your pile out on the table. At that time, you will notice that the ends have been woven together. Then grab the shorter ends, pull it, creasing the ribbon as you go.
Step 8:
